Laser Controlled Concrete Grinding

Smooth Stone is proud to be the only Australian company to provide laser controlled concrete grinding. The HTC Automatic Levelling Laser System enables us to grind Very Flat and Super Flat concrete floors critical to warehouses and high bay storage. A flat and level floor allows fork lifts and material handling equipment operate safely and efficiently reducing stock damage and fork truck maintenance.

A lithium based hardener is then applied to harden and dust proof the concrete floor then be polished to HTC Superfloor™ standard to provide a hard wearing finish with a very cost effective life cycle.

Grinding the floor flat is safer then levelling overlays as there is no waiting to return the floor to service and if levelling compounds not correctly installed can delaminate leading to long down times to rectify.

Smooth Stone can rectify concrete floors that do not meet the tighter tolerances now being specified to receive resilient coverings, large format tiles and timber floors without the  need and down time of levelling compounds.

Smooth Stone can survey your slab for flatness and levelness before and after using a Dipstick®. Recognised worldwide as the instrument of record for accurate and repeatable flatness/levelness measurements. This will provide text and 3Dmaps of your floor in both F-Numbers and the 'Gap Under The Straightedge'.

Superfloor - HTC Superfloor™

Superfloor - HTC Superfloor™ is a refined concrete floor, grinded and polished with HTC's effective machines and diamond tools. Not only is the floor aesthetical appealing, it also contributes to a better working environment. HTC Superfloor™ is advantageous in an economical point of view thanks to the durability and the low life cycle cost.

It is the ideal floor for a wide range of industries, public buildings and residential living. Your concrete can be polished to have the beauty and hard wearing of natural stone like your granite bench tops. The finished floor is ready for immediate use without the need for 'plastic surface sealers' to cure or risk damaging.

ARDEX Pandomo

The seamless flooring system that is Pandomo creates the natural look of stone without the joints. Colours can be mixed and blended to suit the look you need. Terrazzo Micro is the addition of aggregate to rapid set binders that can be coloured. This seamless system has the benefits of being harder then terrazzo and can be honed and polished the next day, not seven days. Pandomo is the modern system for floor design.
